Ecological Heating with Solar Energy
As early as 2006 we switched to environmentally-friendly energy production using Solar made by Paradigma. Company Rudi Schlittenhardt Heating / Air conditioning Engineering supported us in planning and carrying out this ambitious project.
This was, however, easier said than done – in order to install the solar panels on our rooftop, statics had to be calculated first and a complex steel sub construction had to be built.
The 16 m2 of solar panels are now used in summer for generating hot water, in winter we use the energy for heating our offices. So we safe approximately 1,500 litres of heating oil a year and have avoided so far an estimated 60 tons of CO2 emissions – a win-win-situation both for the environment and for us!
